Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. The Service

The Service is an entertainment game in which users try to stop a timer close to a target time. It may include local play, shared challenges, result pages, and casual leaderboards. No registration is required for current MVP features.

The Service is not a medical, psychological, cognitive, educational, or diagnostic assessment. Results should not be used to make health, employment, education, or other important decisions.

3. Timing and leaderboard limitations

Browser, device, display, input, network, and operating-system latency may affect results. We do not promise identical timing accuracy or fairness across devices. Shared leaderboards are casual and unverified. They are not suitable for official competition, wagering, prizes, or decisions with financial or legal consequences.

4. Shared challenges and user content

You may be able to submit a display name and game result (“User Content”). Do not submit real names, contact information, passwords, confidential information, or information about another person.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, moderate, and distribute your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and promote the shared challenge you chose to create or join.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, infringing, impersonating, spam, malicious code, or personal information submitted without permission. We may hide or remove content, limit submissions, or block access to protect the Service or users.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to manipulate timing results through automation, scripts, or developer tools;
• submit false, misleading, or impersonating display names;
• attempt to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• collect or scrape user data from the Service; or
• use the Service to harass, bully, or harm others.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
