Understanding Your Score

Accuracy Formula

Accuracy % = (1 − |Actual − Target| / Target) × 100

Direction

The game tells you whether you stopped EARLY (before the target) or LATE (after the target). This helps you adjust on the next round.

Grades

  • S — ≤ 10ms error (near perfect)
  • A+ — ≤ 0.5% error
  • A — ≤ 1% error
  • B — ≤ 2.5% error
  • C — ≤ 5% error
  • D — > 5% error

Grades are casual feedback, not professional assessments. Results vary by device, browser, and input method.

Fair Play & Device Differences

Input latency, screen refresh rate, and browser processing can affect close results. A 10ms difference on one device might be 30ms on another.

For fair comparison between players, use the same device and input method.

If the page loses focus during a round (switching tabs, clicking the address bar), the round is invalidated. This prevents unfair advantages from pausing.

The timer uses a hidden display so you cannot watch the clock and adjust in real time. This is what makes the game a test of time estimation rather than reaction speed.
